If you are visiting Hasselt then its worth stopping off at the Tourist office to buy one of their 'themed city walks' such as ‘Historical walk’…. Hasselt Tourist Office Lombaardstraat 3 (Town Hall). If you prefer to explore Hasselt by boat then you can take a pleasant boat trip on the Albert canal. While in Hasselt do take time to see the beautifully laid out Japanese garden. There are hundreds of Koi fish here and you can buy food at the gardens to feed them
