Nightlife in Kyrenia
In and around Kyrenia you will find that there is a great choice for nightlife.
If you are looking for a long night then its best to start out at one of the bars such as Cream bar which is tucked behind Kyrenia harbour in a small square before heading off to one of the clubs.
Base Club is a good choice. It opened at the end of 2006 and has a 2,000 capacity. There is an entry fee and this does not include any free drinks. The club attracts both local and European DJs as well as some live PA's. The club closes when the last people leave...Just in time for an early breakfast!
If you don’t fancy dancing till you drop then Kyrenia Harbour is very popular and lively. Many of the bars have live music.
If you are staying at one of the larger hotels, then the hotel will more than likely have a casino attached. This can be a fun way to spend an hour or so. As there is no gambling permitted in Turkey, the rich and famous tend to jet across from Turkey to North Cyprus at the weekends for a spot of gambling so if you spot a Tarkan look alike, don’t be surprised as he may be for real!
