Celebrated annually, Zommercarnaval (Summer Carnival) is a multi-day event that mimics the carnivals of the Caribbean Islands. A huge street parade makes the core of the festival. During and after the parade live on stage concerts at the Coolsingel and the Churchillplein are performed by local and international music bands.
