Antalya
Antalya is served by Antalya Airport which has both International and Domestic flight terminals.The most convenient way to get from the Airport to your resort is to pre arrange a transfer. Also do check with your airline because some domestic flights have service buses that will take you to Alanya and Manavgat as well as a couple of resorts en route.
If you have not make any pre arrangements from the airport then you can make use of the Havas bus. This is a privately run service that travels between the main bus station in the city and Antalya Airport.
The Havas bus stops en route at Topcular, Oyak Intersection, Governorship Building, Mevlana junction , Castle Gate,100 Year Boulevard, Falez, Shereton Hotel, Kemer Minibus spot, Adliye ?ller Bank and the Coach Station respectively. The fare is fixed and is clearly displayed. The current fare is 10 Turkish lira per person.
Antalya city offers plenty of shopping opportunities and one of the most popular is a short walk from Konyaalti beach. From the beach follow the signs for the Migros shopping from the main road by the Hillside Su hotel centre at the and walk past the Antalya Aquarium park and the Migros shopping centre will soon become visible on your left.
For nightlife you can again head for Konyaalti beach and the beach club. Along this strip you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, some bars have live music where you can relax on large cushions and smoke nargile. During the summer many clubs open their doors so to speak on the beach so you can dance under the stars.
The old and most attractive part of Anyalya is called Kaleici and it is here that you will find the interesting Kaleici museum. The museum is set in a restored Ottoman building.
Within the same area you will find Antalya Archaeological museum which is considered to be one of the best in Turkey. While you are in Kaleici spend some time to wander through the narrow streets and amongst the Ottoman buildings.
Below Kaleici is the harbour where during the days you can take a daily boat trip along the coast. The harbour is also an attractive area day or night in which to enjoy the local restaurants and bars
