Lake Abant is only 35 kilometres away from Bolu city center where you can enjoy both blue and green with the fir and pine trees.
Abant is a place to see both for vacation and excursion lovers. The place gets its name from Lake Abant which is accepted as a natural park. The place is easily accessible from Istanbul and Ankara after driving 3 hours.
Abant is an ideal place to escape from the noise and stress of the city thanks to its amazing nature and fresh air. It is a unique place to visit due to its beauty for four seasons. Pure white in winter, the lake is covered with ice by the middle of winter. If you go to Abant in winter, it is a great pleasure to take a walk around the lake with a hot cup of coffee. You can skid from the hills, and ride on a horse around the lake. Don’t forget to eat ‘sucuk’ – Turkish garlic-flavored sausage on barbecue!
