Bars and Clubs in Las Vegas
Getting a drink is a snap in Las Vegas. All the major casinos provide free drinks to players even if they're only on the 5-cent slot machines. Make sure to tip the waitress at least $1 for each drink. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a place to party and enjoy your favorite brew, Las Vegas surely has what you’re looking for, too.
Each hotel and casino has its own club or lounge, and there are other excellent nightspots around the city. Beer costs around $4 to $8 while a bottle of alcohol will cost around $200. The leading clubs also have a $15 cover charge. Most places close at 4 a.m. and have a strict dress code. Tank tops, t-shirts, blue jeans and tennis shoes are not allowed.
The following are some of the best bars and clubs in Las Vegas.
3121
Located at the Rio Hotel, 3121 is the leading dance club in Las Vegas. It spans more than 30,000 sq. feet, with interiors designed wholly in purple. The name of the club comes from the album of the singer Prince in reference to an address in Los Angeles were he performs private concerts. Prince is a regular performer here on Fridays and Saturdays.
Cleopatra's Barge
Located at Caesars Palace, this is a real floating barge that is steeped in luxury. It was patterned after the barge that Cleopatra used on the Nile.
Nefertiti's Lounge
This bar is famous for its Sphinx margaritas, which are served in three-foot-tall glasses that are shaped like a mummy case. Nefertiti's Lounge is located at the Luxor.
Pink Taco
Here’s were tourists can find the best Mexican tequila and food. You’ll feel like you were transported to Mexico. Pink Taco is located at the Hard Rock.
The Bunkhouse
Do you want to party like a cowboy? The Bunkhouse is decorated like a salon from the Old West, with saddles, ropes, horseshoes and, naturally, the swinging bar doors. But when it comes to music, anything goes. The live band plays anything from rockabilly to rock and roll and reggae. There is also a stand-up comedy night. Drinks are relatively cheap.
