If you want to see where reggae first started, travel through a cave by tram, take part in the world’s first interactive ocean theme park or take a ride in a submarine then let’s head for the Caribbean...
Our first stop in the Caribbean will be on the Island of Jamaica to see where Reggae first started and where Bob Marley was born. In Kingston, the capital of Jamaica you can visit the Bob Marley museum and there is also the Peter Tosh Museum in the small town of Belmont.
Let's change Islands and slow the pace down and head for Barbados where we can travel through the Harrison’s Cave by tram. There are many stalactite and stalagmite formations as well as underground pools. Harrison’s cave is easy to get to in the St.Thomas district which is accessible by bus from Bridgetown.
Onwards and upwards we travel to the Dominican Republic and the attractive town of Puerto Plata which is home to the World’s first interactive Ocean theme park where you can swim with the fish and interact with all of the animals and tropical birds. Puerto Plata is a super up and coming resort for all the family.
The small Island of Aruba is our last stop and where we get to experience what its like to travel under the sea in a Submarine. From the docks at the capital city of Oranjestad we can take the boat and transfer to the Atlantis submarine where we get to see the underwater wonders of reefs, shipwrecks and the marine life that surrounds the beautiful island of Aruba.
