"A fascinating book launch"
I attended a reception at the Abba Hotel as part of the World Aerobatic Championships held at Villafria aerodrome near Burgos. A biography of a former world aerobatic champion, the Spanish pilot Tomas Castano, was being launched at a distinguished gathering of prominent folk in the sport of aerobatics. The venue was the conference suite at the hotel and afterwards in the hotel bar. The surroundings were impressive and the tapas excellent. A memorable evening among friends old and new.

"Great place to stay"
Great location, clean and spacious rooms. We stayed on the ground floor with our little dog and had a nice little garden with garden furniture. Walking distance from the town where there are some nice squares and great bars and restaurants. Staff very curtious. Underground parking. Overall a great place to stay, would highly recommend it.

"Had a very good stay"
On the positives: excellent facilities, nice friendly staff, reasonable buffet breakfast, marble everywhere, very clean. Good position to walk to the city. Rooms are large, allowed very good sleep. Bathrooms are also large, clean with everything one needs. No major negatives. Minor negatives: swimming pool was too cool for a splash pool, sauna was claustrophobic. Note that you will be charged separately for the parking. Overall: would stay again, would recommend for a stay in Burgos.
