Situated in the Loire Valley, the hotel is set in the heart of the gardens of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Royal Abbey was founded in 1101 and it boasts over 900 hundred years of cultural heritage. The 52 rooms overlook the orchard or abbey, and they offer charming and comfortable accommodation, and modern and sober interior design.

In the cloister, the restaurant serves refined regional gourmet cuisine, and the bar offers cocktails by the fire. The business centre features 8 rooms with a maximum capacity of 320 people.

The village of Fontevraud is a delight for the eyes: a typical village of the Anjou region, made of freestone and slate, situated between the three regions of Anjou, Touraine and Poitou and in the middle of the Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park, Fontevraud is part of the P�le Touristique International [International Tourist Division] of Saumur and its region.

* After putting his talents to work in Monaco and Geneva in eminent establishments, Anthony Vaillant became sous-chef at the Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay. Recently, to the great delight of our guests, he became chef in our restaurant, "Le Clo�tre�.

* Organise your conventions, general assemblies, seminars, and meetings in Anjou, just a few kilometres from Saumur.The hotel can accommodate a large number of people: 2,437 square metres divided into eight rooms, each one with a different size and mood and able to accommodate up to 800 people.
