Abbey Hotel is originally built as a wealthy merchant's house in the 1740's. This centrally hotel is located near to the Cathedral and offers comfortable ensuite bedrooms with all the amenities expected of a Best Western standard of hotel.

The bedrooms are offered in two styles. The modern rooms are decorated in warm colours with a Scottish influence and older style rooms comfortably furnished with good facilities.
LOCATION

Abbey Hotel is Located in the oldest part of the city it has the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa (due to open shortly), Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, Sally Lunns, Bath Rugby Club, Parade Gardens, the main shopping centre and great restaurants all on its doorstep.

"Great location, adequate hotel"
On a recent visit to Bath (for a wedding), my boyfriend and I stayed at the Abbey Hotel. Its location is terrific - could not be better for access to all the highlights of Bath and just down the street (walkable) from the train station. The hotel itself is typical of Best Western hotels - a solid three stars. The room and bath were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast no worse than most three-star hotels. We experienced no issues with noise, despite the fact that our room sat on the stairwell and overlooked a busy walkway. Given the expense of most hotels in Bath, I would not hesitate to stay again.
