Very highly recommended if you can appreciate a small luxury hotel . Beautiful old building with modern rooms. Flagship of the AC chain . Wonderful and intimate . Attentive and discreet service . Regular guest - absolutely zero complaints .

"Will stay more at the Santo Mauro!"
Tucked away on a quiet street but walking distance to many of Madrid's main attractions, the Santo Mauro is a lovely respite from the bustle of the city. My room was really a suite, with a bedroom and work area on the first floor, a second smaller bedroom, dining table and small workout room on the second floor. In addition, the Santo Mauro is equipped with a small pool (too small, frankly, for exercise) and a fitness facility. Other public areas are welcoming and comfortable. If possible, book a rate that includes an excellent breakfast spread and you'll be fine until dinner. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay, anticipating my needs ahead of my asking.
