The Aconcagua Hotel Is A First Class Hotel In Mendoza...

The Aconcagua is a remodeled first class hotel located in the heart of the city and close to the main square. All of the guest rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped to give a feeling of relaxed luxury. Rooms are air conditioned, with coffee/tea making facilities, mini bar, and radio, in room safety deposit box, satellite TV, cable, direct dial telephone, and individual temperature control.

Built for the 1978 soccer World Cup, the Aconcagua has a huge lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a well-manicured lawn area. It lends a sense of spaciousness to the lobby, which otherwise might feel claustrophobic with its low ceilings. The entryway is a bit strange, dominated by the valet parking, but once you're through the front doors, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

A recent remodelling job really spruced things up. Indigenous motifs now adorn the headboards, and Mapuche-style wall hangings add color to the walls. The suites, which have a very calming atmosphere thanks to their soft wood tones, are particularly inviting. It's a modern hotel and good value for top notch digs overall.

LOCATION

The Aconcagua Hotel is situated in the heart of the town that lies at the foot of the Andes Mountains and is like an oasis with its many canals and tree-lined streets. It is close to the Main Square and 12 km from The International airport.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Restaurant. "Los Parrales" Restaurant: 70 seats. It serves exquisite traditional dishes and novelty dishes either grilled, roasted or baked in a mud oven, always visible. It has two private rooms for up to 12 people (Las Barricas I & Las Barricas II)

* Swimming pool and solarium. Open-air swimming pool and solarium to relax, with snack bar service at your disposal.
Opening hours. from 10.30 hs. to 20.30 hs. (from November 1 to March 30)

* Walks and gardens. With their share of light and color, they offer the possibility of putting up tents to carry out different events, including open-air activities to enjoy the excellent weather of Mendoza.

* Business Center. Some of the most important services offered at thia hotel include Internet access, use of computers, scanners, printers and photocopiers. There are also special services that are available upon request: secretarial activities, translations and postage of packages and correspondence.

* Breakfast room and coffee shop "HORIZONTE" It offers buffet breakfast from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 hs. to 10:00 hs., and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays until 11hs. From 7:00 hs. and up to 23:00 hs., you
can enjoy our bar service.

* The hotel has 150 rooms. Divided into City View 75 double rooms with double twins, 46 double rooms with one double bed, and Mountain View 17 double rooms with double twins, 12 double rooms with one double bed. 9 suites, which have a living room, a work area with a permanent fax machine, and jacuzzi.

* All rooms have individual AC y heater, safe box, TV with remote, telephone with NDD and IDD, Internet access and minibar.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
