Designed as an Arabic village, the 'hotel within the hotel' Al Hamra Village Town House is set back from the Al Hamra Fort resort complex. The beach is only 300 metres away and guests have the use of all the facilities at Al Hamra Fort plus the additional use of their very own village square with a pub, coffee shop and separate swimming pool. The rooms are of an excellent standard and there a vast array of watersports to choose from at the beach, plus golf. The resort offers a free shuttle bus service to Dubai shopping malls and a transfer can be arranged to/from Dubai airport for a small fee.

"cool for families"
Holidayed with another family of four and really enjoyed our stay. Staff gave us excellent service - paying extra special attention to the children. Food was of a good standard - the 'feasts' were good value. This resort has pools, beaches, watersports and an easy going atmosphere.

"Great relaxing stay"
Stayed at the Al Hamra Fort for 7 nights in October. It is about an hours drive from Dubai airport. If you contact the hotel prior to your stay they will collect you free of charge. We stayed in a villa in the grounds and were very impressed with the room. Bathroom was large with bath and seperate shower. Everywhere was spotless and the room was cleaned twice a day. The buffet breakfast was included in the cost of our holiday and was of high standard. We ate in the main restaurant a few times in the evening and was impressed with the variety and quality of the food. It worked out approx £25 per head for the evening buffet. The only downside was the cost of alcohol (cheapest bottle of wine £15) but we expecting this as it is a muslin country. We will definatlely be returning to this hotel but will have a few days in Dubai aswell as it is just too far. We went into dubai a couple of times, once to go to the Burj for dinner which was really expensive but well worth it and again to go to the Gold and Diamond Park. Overall, great holiday!!

"beautiful setting and immaculate grounds"
we just came back from al hamra village after staying for a week and a relaxing week it was.we stayed in the townhouses overlooking the pool ,i was very impressed to say the least,the pool and the grounds were kept pristine.the rooms were spacious and the bed was v comfortable,their was 3 of us and plenty of room for a bed for our child. The village area itself was v impressive to look at and was surrounded by a beautiful golf course not yet opened.Their ar plans to build a 7 star hotel across the way from it and by the looks of it its impressive,their is a lot of building going on but it did nothing to spoil our holiday.Their is 6 restaurants to eat from and a great range of food to try,the lebanese restaurant was great my husband enjoyed the bellydancer.Their is light entertainment in the hotel bar as in the bar in the village, the beach is fab beautiful sand and very safe sea.Their is a range of watersports and activities such as mini goif,tennisand bowls to keep any child entertained.A word of advice if you want to go into dubai make sure you book the free bus as soon as you get to hotel its booked up very fast,if that happens u can book a hotel taxi or a taxi from outside the taxis outside ar way cheaper and will stay with you for the day they ar great value.Be prepared for heavy traffic its unavoidable.
