"A tranquil haven"
This is a marvellous place to stay. It is SO peaceful with lovely balcony views over the lake. If you REALLY needed a rest, you could spend the day sitting here just watching the scenery and the the comings and goings of the Lake Steamers. The rooms are spacious and everything is pristine without being clinical. There is a sense of history here with spectacular public rooms. Meals are beautifully presented and tasty. All service is of a high standard with an international staff. I have stayed here three times and dream of returning yet again. In a world of such change, it is nice to find a place that doesn't change. I have written about Weggis in the following ezine: ... under Europe/Switzerland
