"Great deal"
Very clean. Good air conditioning unit. Quite spacious. Near a good pizza place (Firenze Super Pizza). Helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Far from the city (would not suggest walking).
The busses are quick and easy to take once you know the correct lines. Do not trust the bus drivers to drop you near where they think the hotel is located (we had to walk for over 2 miles with all our luggage). Get a map from the hotel(this hotel will probably not be within the limits of most Florence maps)! If you want to try out the Florence night life, I would suggest something within walking distance from the heart of things. I would definitely suggest Hotel Alex to anyone who is spending a few days in Florence, on a budget, who doesn't necessarily need to be right in the center of the city. For the price, I'm not sure you can beat it |
