small and compact rooms
Me and two friends of mine stayed at Alexandra Hotel for three days while we were visiting London. I must say that the location is great for a budget hotel, its very close to Paddington station thus everywhere is accessible via underground. Staff was helpful, room was small and compact (all amenities was packed into a small space). Breakfast was average and edible. However, the bathroom was too small (especially that we were three women taking showers and getting ready) and because of the location, it was too noisy at times. Otherwise it was alright and very reasonably priced. |

clean, basic and cheap...
Alexandra Hotel is a budget hotel with basic amenities; clean rooms, great location and good breakfast. You can find everything you can expect from a 2-star hotel. I will stay here when I visit London for the next time. |

"Loved the Alexandra"
Stayed at Alexandra for 4 nights in June. The room was clean, beds were good and the breakfast ok. The staff was polite and everything worked just fine. Will stay there also next time when visiting London.

"Cheap, nice and clean."
Stayed at Alexandra hotel for 4 nights in February. The room was clean, beds ok, breakfast too (tea, coffee, cereals, ham, juice, yogourt and as much toasts as you like).
The staff was very polite. Everything went just fine except that someone broke into our room the first night (hopefully they didn't stole anything), staff said it happens sometimes when the hotel is croaded, so DO NOT LET ANYTHING VALUABLE IN UR ROOM !!
Hotel is near Paddington station, 20 mn from Oxford Street, and there's plenty of restaurants around.
