alkion plaza hotel
To look at the pictures on the internet to when you get there is a very different thing. it looks really bright and colourful but when you arrive its dark and dreary. The pool looks 3 times the size it is and it wasnt offen clean. The welcome we had was fantastic from the reception staff. the room was very clean and big. The main thing they really need to look at is the all inclusive side as the bar didnt open untill 11am for AI even soft drinks and the AI stopped at 22.30, then the drinks where VERY expensive. also the snack bar consisted of old hard small triangle sandwiches which could of broke the windows and if you wanted them toasted you had to pay extra. The bar staff werent friendly infact they were all damn right rude all the time. the meals were ok better than we thought. and its quite away from the village and the town 10 euro cab ride regardless of what the travel agent tells you or the internet. if your going to rethymno in crete take my advice and stay in the village of platanis or rethymno town its self. also vist Bail beach that was fantastic. |
