Alpha Hotel is a welcoming and comfortable Sorrento hotel located in a completely renovated 19th century villa, which rises on an evocative and relaxing citrus grove, typical of the area, enriched with exotic and Mediterranean flowers and plants.

Located in a quiet and verdant residential area of Sorrento, Hotel Alpha is a warm and welcoming base for your visit to the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Pompeii. Closeby is the Sorrento Train Station, bus terminal and city centre, and only 350 metres away is the Marinella Beach.

"So helpful - they were fantastic"
Not normally keen on writing reviews - but in this instance I feel impelled to do so. Firstly, you cannot go wrong on the location of the Hotel, you are just far enough away from the town centre as to avoid the annoying heavy traffic and noise. The Hotel itself & rooms cannot be faulted on any aspect that you can think off. The cuisine and catering staff are 1st class and they really know how to serve and treat people. The swimming pool was always fresh and clean with a good size kids pool aswell. Finally, we had cause to request a hospital visit for our 2 year old daughter, whom had sprained her wrist, the hotel staff (Francesco & Pauline) were as concerned as us parents in the well being of the child and actually drove us straight to the casualty dept at the hospital, where she was given the all clear. A couple of days later, I myself, went down with severe toothache and thought I would have to wait until I arrived home for dental treatment. Again though, Francesco was on hand to amazingly fix me an emergency appointment at the local dentist up the road - astounding !!.... Anyway you you would have thought that these 2 incidents may have ruined the holiday, but with the help of the very genuine staff, they were merely 'blips' in a quite blissful & relaxing vacation, set in one of the most beautiful & 'people friendly' places I have ever been. Sorrento - Go there !! & stay at the Hotel Alpha.

"Better than expected"
My wife and I spent two great nights at the Alpha Hotel in Sorrento Italy. This was in the month of October. The hotel is just outside of the town of Sorrento. Which turned out to be in our opinion better than staying in the much more crowded town of Sorrento. Which is a beautiful town located on the sea, absolutely beautiful, but also full of tourist, which can get pretty hectic. The Alpha Hotel was in a quiet neiberhood with lemon trees and other nice shrups. The staff was very helpful all the time. The place was kept very clean, and our bed was comfortable, our room looked over lemon trees and some old buildings. It had a great balcony with a table. The stay was quite reasonable compared to the places in Sorrento, which went for alot more money. This Hotel is highly recommed by my wife and I. If you stay at the Hotel and want to go into the town of Sorrento The train which is only 100 yards from the hotel can take you to Sorrento in 3-5 minutes or Pompeii, or Napoli. For only 1 to 3 euros. If we are able to return to Sorrento, we would diffenitley go back to the Hotel Alpha, only this time stay longer. One other thing, they do have a parking garage if you have a car. but charge 10 euro per night. Their are places on the street to park if you can find one. It did seem like a very safe area.
