The attractive hotel, which dates back to the early 20th century, welcomes guests with a combination of traditional charm and modern comfort. The hotel has a particularly warm decor with stucco and comprises a total of 54 rooms.

This hotel occupies a convenient and peaceful location near the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est stations, with a short distance of the Place de la République.
LOCATION

How to get there:

25 km from the airport. You have to take the RER B ligne and stop at Gare du Nord.
1 blocks of the bleue line (ligne2) after you will be at the front desk. (stop Barbes Rochechouart)

The Altona Hotel is located in the very lively district of the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, a few minutes away from Place de la Republique. There is a good selection of bistros and restaurants in the locality.

The hotel on rue du Faubourg-Poissoniere in the Right Bank's 10th arrondissement. The mainline train station of Gare du Nord is also very close. You will be well positioned to visit the Sacre Coeur and the Opera Garnier.

the hotel rate
we waited almost 1hour to get a prebooked room. No appolagize made for the wait.The room was clean but the staff not so friendly.For a triple room and a baby with us they made us pay £10 extra.

the staff were very friendly but although clean the hotel was very tatty. We were on the 6th Floor and and the lift only went to the 5th floor. Only 1 pillow each person and this was a very thin pillow. The shower had hot water but no fitting on the wall so had to hold the spray hose.Towels were supplies when we asked for them. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine. 1 croissant and I piece of French bread with orange juice and coffee. If you want a very basic hotel close to Gare Du Nord (5 minutes walk) and don't mind the tatty ness. Then ideal

Hotel Review
Fawlty Towers comes to mind with this hotel. Electricty wasn't working when we arrived. No clean towels. Not so friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was nice though.
