Am Augarten Hotel is owned and operated by Austria Hotel Int. This lately renovated fine family type hotel is located in a residential area, although listed as 3 stars, it really offers much more. Not far from the city center, close to Vienna's historical amusement park, the 'Prater' with its giant Ferris Wheel and the recreation area of Old Danube, this hotel is the ideal place for both businessmen and tourists. Vienna's fairground is nearby.
LOCATION

Am Augarten Hotel is conveniently located near the center of Vienna. Due to the excellent location close to the Giant Ferris Wheel, Prater and Vienna's fair grounds it is ideal both for tourists and for business travelers. By Tram 21 you can easily reach Schwedenplatz and walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral and the traditional shopping areas such as Kärntner Strasse, Graben and Kohlmarkt.

good value for my money
I stayed in this hotel twice (on March and May) and all I can say is that its a great value for money! Rooms are decent, clean and towels are changed everyday. The hotel is close to the tram station however there are a few strip clubs on the way, so I guess location is a negative here. Other than that I liked to stay here because I got a nice service and I paid less for it.

Am Augarten Hotel is a good choice if you are looking for a convenient location with a good price. It is very easy to get where you want to go while the public transporttaion in Wienna is really amazing. Further more, the front desk is willing to help with your requests and they provide you good service with a smile. Reasonable accommodation for its price.

Sweat small hotel. Nice service. Near to the Prater. I will surely sleep again in this hotel.

I stayed in the Hotel for a conference in early March 06 . Although the hotel is not a luxury class one. it is reasonable for the price the location is convenient. It is easy to get to the airport with the S7 and tram 21 is just at the door with which you can ride to the city or get connection with the U-Bahn. Cleaniness is average while the staff is friendly. It is a good choice for business or conference travelling if the budget is limited.
