"great location, very nice hotel"
This was my fifth time in Paris in the last ten years. I stayed at different hotels each time. Amarante was the most expensive one, but easily the best quality for the money.
The hotel is located 50 yards from Champs Elysee, very close to l'Arc de Triomphe. Best possible location - Champs Elysee is lively until 1am. The area is very safe and pleasant.
I had a regular double room. Everything was very clean and new. The bathroom was particularly good. The service was good and people working at the hotel always friendly.
The hotel is very quiet, in spite of its central location.
I highly recommend this hotel for leisure/family or business travelers.

"Superb hotel"
got to paris saturday morning, no where to stay, went looking for a nice hotel to stay at that wasnt going to stretch the budget. went in to about 10 hotels and this one although not the cheapest at 160 euros for a night was by far the best for both quality and location. beautiful room, great staff, (really appreciated the coffee at some un goddley time in the morning) and in general a hotel that i will both recommend to friends to stay at and also stay there again next time im in paris.

"Great Location"
We visited Paris in July 2006. We stayed in the Hotel Amarante Champs Elysee.
This hotel is very well situated. It is just off the Champs Elysee but it is quiet and very safe.The staff speak English. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is compact and clean.There is a safe in each room. The breakfast is excellent. The air conditioning was a God send in the height of a heat wave. The bar is expensive - 6 euro each for coke. There are nuts, crisps and wine set out in the room - they are not complimentary! We had three teenagers with us. There is nothing in the hotel for them to do but as we were out most of the time it didn't matter. |
