"Amari Atrium Hotel is a nice hotel "
Amari Atrium Hotel is a nice hotel but too far out of town we had to use taxis all the time .we only stayed for a three day stopover so needed to see as much as possible.it was a good job the taxis were so cheap or it would have been an expensive stopover .would not stay there again .

"Wonderful hotel..great value for money"
In my opinion, this is a little gem of a hotel. I had previously read other reviews about this hotel and now I have stayed there I feel that some of the comments made were very unfair. The hotel is not in the centre of Bangkok but they provide free shuttle buses to every tourist location in Bangkok that you could ever want to go to. The room that we stayed in was wonderful, it was really spacious and the bed is huge and so so comfortable.
Mingles Bar is fantastic, the staff are super nice and the bar food is delicious. Breakfast is excellent also it's a huge buffet with everything you can imagine from yoghurt to pancakes to sushi..great stuff. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and to be honest I wouldn't let the location put me off staying at this hotel at all. If you want a city centre hotel then don't stay here but if you want to stay in an excellent hotel which is great value for money and you don't mind paying the equivalent of one euro for a taxi to get from the city centre back out here then you should go for it..you won't regret it!

"Excellent!"
We read some bad reviews about this hotel that it was far outside bangkok city etc but there isnt really a centre to Bangkok so this is untrue! also the hotel has a free shuttle bus to the main shopping district or grand palace which for us turned out to be a guided tour cos the driver took pity on us and didnt want to throw us out in the rain! (dont think this would happen often though!) its also located about a ten min walk to the subway! the hotel itself is really clean, good spacious rooms and the staff are very nice...just dont buy anything in the hotel! the room was very cheap (by irish prices) but they overcharged on mini bar stuff! my advice is just go to the 7/11 right beside the hotel!My only other recommendation is to get a thai massage in the DOKmai spa and beauty salon it was only about 8 euro for an hour(very cheap we shopped around ) and very professional...its across the road from the hotel (cross by the bridge and turn right )
