"Great Location"
Just stayed there for 5 nights. It has a great location, adjacent to Asok Sky Train & MRT stations. So could move anywhere in the city very easily.
Room was nice & clean with a great balcony. Staffs were very friendly as well. Also just few steps away from Robinson departmental store.
Did not have the chance to dine there except breakfast, which was ok. Good for business & single traveler, may not be for family.

"Definately a "Home Away from Home""
It would be a great injustice not to write a review about this place that was home for me and my wife for two long weeks.
I had chosen the place blindly as its a part of the reputed Amari chain and location seemed all right.
Actually I had booked the Soi 9 City Lodge on their web site through advance payment option. But they upgraded us to the much better one on Soi 19. "Thanx guys"
The location could not have been better as it was very very close to the BTS Asoke station as well as Sukhumvit MTR. In fact, they could build a walkway to the hotel from the station.
The other thing that I liked was the balcony that had a open view of the Bangkok skyline making it airy. Most Bangkok places (At this price range) are dark and gloomy where you don't see anything from the windows.
The bathroom was neat and sprakling with a spacious tub, cofee maker, hair dryer, 6 sets of Amari toileteries and two bottles of complimentry water bottle.
The room was done very tastefully too with soft wall to wall carpet, mini bar, 21 inch SONY tv with 3 English channels, lighted closet, electronic safe, shoe shine, emergency torch light etc.
As far as the bed is concerned, i would say that both you and your partner would find it very welcoming........
I had opted for room only booking but did have one set of Asian breakfast with cofee and fruit juice which was good. But i would have rather preffered a buffet kind where one gets a wider choice.
The staff was helpful and attentive and made us feel at home.
The last night it rained like anything and would not stop but we had to go to the Nana area for last minute shopping and dinner, so were provided with an Amari umbrella.
The hotel is just opposite Westin Grande and Shearaton plus Robinson with a MacDonald that's open till 1 AM and a 24 Hour grocery store to refill your mini bar.
If crowded dark places are not a problem for you book Soi 9 but for something with a view and refreshing atmosphare go to Soi 19.
Thanks to Amari for giving us this quality holiday at a very resonable price.
