LOCATION
The Hotel Amigo is located in Central Prague, 1 kilometre (0,6 mile) from the Wenceslas Square and 800 metres (0,5 mile) from the Prague Congress Centre. The Legerova Street where the hotel is situated provides many public transportation links as well.
The Wenceslas Square which is sorrounded by lots of entertainment, shopping and dining options, is a wonderful boulevard in the New Town of the city. The National Museum where rich scentific and historical collections are exhibited and the State Opera are also located on the Wenceslas Square. The Prague Main Railway Station is situated 500 metres (0,3 mile) to the Wenceslas Square and here you can easily find regional and international transport links.
After a short walk from the Wenceslas Square, you can reach the Old Town Square where monumental buildings such as the St. Nicholas Church, the Tyn Cathedral and the Old Town Hall stand. After an exciting sightseeing at the Old Town Square, you can walk towards the Prague Castle and the St. Vitus Cathedral by passing through the Charles Bridge.
If you are a business traveller who will attend a congress or meeting, you can easily reach the Prague Congress Centre on foot from the Hotel Amigo. This is one of the largest centres in Europe and available for events such as conferences, concerts and banquets as well.
The closest public transportation links are the Bruselska tram station (300 metres / 0,2 mile) and the I. P. Pavlova metro station. You can take the Airport Express to Dejvicka and here transfer to the metro line A to arrive at the Muzeum station. Finally the tram no. 11 will take you to the Bruselska tram station.
