Great Hotel
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while we visited Riga. It is on the opposite side of the river to the main attractions, but is only a 10 minute bus/tram ride away. The hotel was small, clean, tidy - everything you could want from a short break hotel. There is a restaurant and a bar but we didn't really use them as we went out both nights and didn't see anyone else in there either, apart from at breakfast. There's a TV in the room, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, the receptionists all speak English well, and they organised a lift back to the airport for us as well. One thing I would say is that it advertises as a full English breakfast - well I can't remember the last time I had pancakes or cheese on toast for breakfast, but I'd recommend this hotel and would definately stay there again if I was ever in Riga.

Riga is cool
Stayed in Hotel Anda with friends over easter. Its in a strange location 10 minutes by tram from the city centre. The room was very clean and nice and the staff was very friendly. It was very cheap to take the tram (0.20p) so cant really complain! Had a really nice time in Riga.. |
