"Excellent Stay in Lausanne"
Its obviously been refurbished recently, the room was a great size and had a huge bathroom. Electric blinds and canopy over the balcony, the staff were excellent its in a great location right on the lake side, in the middle of a great selection of cafe's and restaurants. Only problem was no Ironing facilities available, we had to send everything to be pressed - as we were there for two weeks it became expensive. Would highly recommend to all.

this is one of the best hotels i have ever been in. the hotel is extremely stylish. the bathroom floors are white polished stones covered in a clear, flat glaze. very cool. and the TV can be heard in the bathroom via speaker, so when you are in the bath you can hear it. views are great, the lake and the promenade. when you walk into the grounds you will not be disappointed, its like a great french country house but modern. also, the hotel next door, the beau rivage, is affiliated and you can use their spa for a fee. service was great, parking on-site for $20, and a very good restaurant with nice views. cant say one bad thing about the hotel. i have picutres of the room and the reception areas.

"Great hotel on the waterfront"
My wife and I visited lausanne for our honeymoon and were very pleased with the Angelterre and Residence facilities. Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, terrfic bedrooms, and fantastic views of lac leman and the mountainside. Outdoor pool facilities are adequate and the location of the hotel on the water is great for long walks or lunch on the water. The only drawback is that the hotel is a fairly long and steep climb back up the road into the city for shopping and site seeing (choose this hotel wisely if you're not into walking or use frequent taxi or transit to get you where you want to go). Only a 5-10 minute drive by car from the metro station. Overall, this hotel and the people were fantastic.
