"What more could you want?"
Very good sized modern clean quiet room for 3 adults
Location 2 minutes from Gracia metro
Staff very welcoming
There is a fabulous restaurant just opposite on the right side leaving the hotel on the corner
Location is perfect for shopping and local bars
The buffet breakfast gets a bit tired come 10.30am so eat early. If you are a real coffee fan sadly you will not be enthused by their offering but its a small sacrifice for such a super hotel

"great value, and very comfortable"
This is a modern, comfortable hotel (good beds, and air conditioning) in a quiet street in the Gracia area, some 20 mins walk from the centre, 5 mins on the Metro. We got a quote (some weeks before we left ) for a triple room for 3 nights in August 2006, (myself, my wife and teenage son), 107 Euros per night incl.breakfast plus 7% usual tax. When we arrived we started to worry whether this price could be right, because the hotel was so smart (without being over the top) and the prices advertised on the desk at Reception were very much higher than the price we'd been given. The lesson seems to be - make sure you book in advance,(and you probably get a better deal on several nights). The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. The only upset was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night - somebody smoking too much in their room, but I don't blame the the hotel for that! Highly recommended.

"Great Value Hotel"
Arrived at 11am and were able to check in then even though it is usually 2pm. Having researched the hotel before we went we knew this was a modern hotel. When we got to our room though we were really disappointed. Apparently only certain rooms in the hotel have been refurbished (it was built in the 1970's) and obviously we had been given one of the old rooms, which although was in good condition was not the beautiful modern room we had seen on the hotel's website and were expecting.
After speaking to reception, they admitted some rooms were old although this was not advertised on their website and was in some ways false advertising. I was told there was nothing that could be done for the first nights stay but they would try and find a alternative room for the following two nights. II found this strange considering I watched 3 people check out and it was still only 11am but...........
Anyway the following day we had out new room which was far superior. WORD OF WARNING - if you stay at this hotel make sure it is not a room on the 5th floor as they are all old rooms. We were moved to the 3rd and they were lovely.
The hotel breakfast was fantastic with cereal, fruit, ham and cheese etc croissants/pain au choc and cooked breakfast. Was lovely and clean and the food was of a high standard. We couldn't complain.
The location of the hotel I thought was excellent. It was about a 35 minute walk to Las Ramblas although you could get the metro from Gracia station about a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Make sure you get a T-10 ticket - 10 journeys for 6 euros odd and it can be used by more than one person. Taxi at night to/from Placa de Catalunya was between 5-7 euros. Although the hotel was on a small side road the area felt quite safe as it was towards the business district.
Had we been given a modern room from our first nights stay I couldn't have been more pleased although it would not stop me from staying here again as it was very well maintained and was great value for the standard.

"Great Find"
Stayed here for long weekend and found facilities very good. Was able to check in early and you get a glass of cava when checking in. Room spotless and very large. Has a kitchen but no utensils unless you ask for them. But then who goes self catering in Barcelona. Breakfast was great value and good quality and service. Its in a quiet area but only 2 stops on the FGC underground to the centre.
