"A Truly Special Holiday !!!" We booked the Holiday a week before - Full of apprehension of the troubles that could bring you. Arriving there was good - staff were very helpful. Our room was small and cosy. Our two kids (17 and 4 at the time) loved eveything. The view every morning of Puerto Rico below was breathtaking. We only had a week there. The Entertainment team didn't hassle us like MANY MANY other Hotels. The night time was nice also. Quiet. Every night had something different going on. The Poolside Bar doubled up as night time drinking area. Very cosy and relaxed. I have spent a lot of time abroad and been to a lot of hotels. This by far was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday i have been on. IF you want to venture down into town - its a good 20 minute stroll downhill - not for the fainthearted either. Take a Taxi - which are state run and cheap !!!! The entertainment centre is what it says on the tin. You can go to a Club, Bar, Shop, Eat at MANY different Style Restaurants - i recommend the Chinese 'all you can eat' Buffets !!! It's cheap and filling. The Lucky Lucky Lady's hang around the Park entrance and stay there ! Down sides ? Only a few. If you are bad on your feet / not a good walker - avoid. It's on the crest of a Hill. There a loads of lifts. There's an opportunity to go half board there too - in true spanish style - the cost adds up. I never really use the facilities to my advantage. I should have. The Poolside was clean and NOT busy !!! Would i go again ? Definately !!! This time for two weeks !!! THE HOTEL SHOP IS VERY EXPENSIVE !!!! A short walk to the europa centre at the top of the hill has a very nice clean small NETTO !!!! We got our groceries there !!!! BOOK THIS HOTEL !!!!
