"loved the hotel and location"
We really loved this hotel - the staff were freindly, the facilities above average for 3 star hotel and we would go there again. There was a lovely spa next door and guests were able to use the jacuzzi, hammam and sauna for free. The breakfasts were delicious - loads of food and a good selection. We did have a problem with the lock to our door but it was sorted immediately. It definately helps to try to speak French but the reception staff could all speak English quite well. A good central location within easy 2 min walk of the centre.

"Should have stayed longer"
Very modern hotel in Aix. It was a bit hard to find from the TGV but well worth the effort. This is truly a modern spa hotel. We enjoyed the pool area and had a fantastic (cheap for the quality) meal at the restaurant (dining outside on the patio). We were presently surprised by Aix as it has some funny reviews on the Internet travel logs. The shopping available on the windy streets of the old town is great. This is a very picturesque town and part of France and the climate is warm and dry in the Spring. All those impressionist painters knew something.
