Aquis Sandy Beach Resort is a magnificent 4* hotel complex acquired by Aquis Hotel and Resorts from the Summer 2009 onwards. It is a 130 acre, smooth, one level complex, ideally located right in front of a long stretch of a sandy beach, in Agios Georgios, South West of Corfu, approximately 22 km from the airport and the Corfu town centre. It consists of 562 guestrooms, of which 148 One and Two Bedroom Family rooms are renovated with all modern facilities and discretely aesthetics makeover. All One and Two Bedroom Family rooms offer: mini fridge, in room safe deposit box, individually controlled air-conditioning, hairdryer, balcony furnishings, LCD TV, DVD-Hi-Fi player and Free Wi- Fi Internet access. Swimming pools have been renovated as well to meet international safety standards and wooden deck is being used to cover the swimming pool area. New pool equipment (sun beds & umbrellas) replaced the existing ones and new lighting is enhancing the surroundings. New a la carte Restaurant and Sushi Bar are also added, while the external lighting and some garden landscape works took place as well along with the Wi- Fi internet access infrastructure.
