Aragia Hotel is an excellent choice for the budget conscious traveller to Klagenfurt. It offers a range of clean, comfortable rooms with modern furnishings in light wood and soft fabrics.

A large selection of pastries, cereals, cheeses, compotes, jams, eggs and meats, including some hot food, awaits you at the Aragia Hotel's breakfast buffet in the morning, together with your choice of juices, teas, coffees and hot chocolate, all included in the price. There is a garden terrace for you to enjoy in the summer months.

"Does exactly what it says on the tin"
We booked the Aragia through Octopus travel.Dec 11 - 13 2004. ON the internet form we were given the option of single, twin or double room, and we chose the latter. On arriving at the hotel we found two twins pushed together, two duvets, two mattresses and a 5 cm wooden gap between the beds. Does no-one do double beds any more? The hotel is exactly as described, friendly, comfortable, quiet, the staff helpful and genuinely pleased to have English visitors,(which makes a pleasant change!) but best of all was the extensive, generous, varied and tasty breakfast, with both hot and cold dishes. A very definite plus. Klagenfurt also has one of the best Christmas markets I've visited, attractive, unhurried and not too crowded. We had a great weekend. So, out of 10? 7 .
