"Just go!!"
You arrive up a sweeping drive into a Victorian Scottish castle with views across the countryside and gardens. Once inside the main areas of the hotel are in keeping with the age of the building and location. The rooms in the newer part of the hotel aren't exactly modern but they're clean and you really won't want to spend much time in them. Definately recommend eating in the hotel the food was fabulous.

"Elegant and Relaxing"
I had the good fortune to stay at the Ardoe House Hotel this summer. It is a beautiful old hotel with extensive woodsy grounds. The room was clean and comfortable, well equipped , complete with complimentary spring water and Scotch shortbread. The pool was fantastic! The staff did their best to meet the needs of the guests. The food was excellent, even for this vegetarian. I would recommend this hotel without reservation!

"Had our wedding there ........"
Maybe its cos we got married here that we both loved it!! The view of the hotel when you are driving up is excellent!!
We had the Blair Suite for the night and the views out the window were superb - didnt stay there long enough to enjoy the views too much as we had to leave for our honeymoon but we totally loved the place!!!

"Friendly, traditional, Quality."
My fiance and I spent a weekend at Ardoe House in January and were very pleased with the hotel.
The staff were amongst the most friendly I have ever met, and nothing would be a problem for them.
Breakfasts were of the highest standard, and the vegetarian options enjoyed by my fiance were second to none.
Rooms were large and modern, and highly comfortable.
The adjacent health club and pool was well equiped, once again with friendly staff.
On the final night, we had dinner in the restraunt, and were absolutley blown away. Fantastic food, that would not be out of place in any of the world's fine restraunts. Traditional scottish fare, served perfectly.
I would not hesitate to reccomend this fine hotel to anyone. It oozed quality, and had the friendliest staff I have ever met.
