"Conveniently located "
Aressana Hotel & Suites staff was very helpful in providing information about local attractions and transportation. Conveniently located in Fira and was within very easy walking distance to the bus station. Breakfast provided a good selection and varied daily.

"One of our best hotel experiences ever!"
We stayed at the Aressana .
We had room #46 overlooking the pool for four nights. The room was bright, with plenty of natural ventilation, and ocean (not cauldera) views, The bathroom was modern, and had no problems. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, as was the poolside dining facility. The pool itself is larger than most of the Santorini hotel pools we saw, and better managed. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. They arranged tickets and van rentals for us without any glitches. This is an exceptional facility, and we plan to go there again.

"Enjoyed our stay at the Aressana"
My husband and I spent three days in Santorini and stayed at the Aressana Hotel. We loved it. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. There were complimentary robes, slippers, ouzo and jarred figs in the room. The pool was beautiful with a pool bar. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel lobby was nice with lit candles, computer and outdoor deck with tables and chairs. The staff seemed somewhat guarded, but very nice once they warmed up to you. It was also the end of the tourist season. There was no view from the room, but a few steps out the door were spectacular views, shops and restaurants.

"The Aressana is great !!!!!"
Thorughly enjoyed our stay in September 2006. Bags of character, this hotel was very welcoming and staff made the service very personal. Excellent location just yards from the top of Gold Street and the Caldera view.
Rooms were traditional, clean and well maintained. Excellent pool side and great indoor and outdoor bars. Both with excellent service.
The breakfast was efantastic!!!! Nothing more to be said about this. Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

"Great place to stay!"
This was the best place we stayed at during our European trip. The front desk staff were helpful, informative, and extremely polite. Don't let the front entrance fool you -- the whole facility is quite nicely appointed. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was incredible. I would not ever stay anywhere else on Santorini. Don't pay extra for a place with a view when you can stay here and get unbelievable service for less. It's centraly located, so you won't miss anything if you have a car or motorbike or don't mind a short walk. You will not regret staying here and will feel lucky that you did.

"Great hotel"
Stayed here three nights for our honeymoon in May and really enjoyed our stay - we reserved the honeymoon suite, which was really cute (they tried hard to make it a special experience for us). The rooms were clean, the staff was excellent/helpful, the breakfast buffet was large and the hotel had a great pool with a bar.
My only complaint was that it did not have a view of the caldera but you only needed to walk out of the hotel about 20 feet and there it was.
This is not what we would have called a 5-star hotel but it had a very greek personality (which is what we were going for) and we would definitely stay here again!
Also, I highly recommend staying in Fira vs Oia as there's more nightlife.

"Attention to detail makes the Aressana unforgettable"
Conveniently located next to the big church in Fira, the Hotel Aressana more than makes up for its lack of caldera view with attention to fine details. There are charming arrangements of flowers and red and black lava rocks spread throughout the cycladic style building. Each room has a sampler of ouzo and a jarred fruit, along with fresh flowers. Ours had a small patio on a pathway that led to the pool. The breakfast is beautifully arranged and includes many choices not seen in other Greek hotels. The staff is very helpful with recommendations on restaurants or beaches.
Only one question, I would love to buy some of the tablecloths used at the hotel but were unable to find them and the staff couldn't tell me where to get them. Let me know if you find them where I can order from NY.
Outside the hotel, the sidewalk is paved in small stones, but otherwise it is very unassuming. Walk down the hill and you can take the very clean public bus to the beaches or Oia town for the sunset. Walk up towards the caldera for great views - at the top, take the path to the left and there is a beautiful three-bell tower and then stay on that path as it heads to the right and you can watch the donkeys come home. I highly recommend a stay at the Aressana.
