LOCATION

It takes about 40 minutes from Eleftherios Venizelos airport to Arethusa Hotel. If you arrive at the airport, you can take the Express 95 bus to Syntagma Square. When you get out, just look right and Arethusa Hotel is a very short distance away. Arethusa Hotel is also right near the bus stop for the bus to the ferry port.

The Acropolis is about a 15 minutes walk away from Arethusa Hotel and the Plaka district is nearby. You can visit Archeological museum and see the most significant archaeological finds in Greece, including the popular Mask of Agamemnon and the oldest Greek figurines from 2,000 B.C. You can also visit major tourist attractions including the Cathedral, Town Hall and Temple of Olympian Zeus.

It takes approximately 10 minutes to reach Monastiraki (flea market), where you can buy souvenirs and antique furniture. The commercial centre of Athens is just two minutes from Arethusa Hotel.
