"Wonderful state of the art hotel"
We were a tour group of 40 scheduled to stay at another hotel that was changed at the last minute. What a pleasant surprise the Art Hotel was. Very modern with all amenities. While waiting for our room assignment I went to the restroom in the lobby and knew right off that this place was real nice. State of the art fixtures and modern decor. Our room was lovely...beautiful bathroom with shower and marble and a new style sink. Beds were comfortable and the room large and clean. Our view was of an adjoining building but we were there only overnight. A/C worked very well and quietly. Breakfast was good, same old european bread/yogurt/boiled egg/cereal/meats. Location was a bit away from the town about a fifteen minute walk but otherwise I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also must mention that the staff was very freindly and accommodating.

"Excellent hotel 10 min walk from old town"
New hotel built on old style building. The hotel is completely modern, all fixtures, room furnishings, and beds are new. Everything worked perfectly including the air conditioning. There is a secure parking area in the back of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was a 10 minute walk to the old city, however we did not find that to be an issue. I would definately recommend this hotel to people traveling to Split.
