Astoria Hotel is located in the heart of Rapallo, a charming little town of the italian Riviera, very close to Portofino and not far from 5 Terre.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* The hotel has just room and breakfast service, but on demanded can organize brunches, coffee break, business dinners, lunches and dinners for groups. The buffet breakfast is served from 07,30 to 10,30 in the dining area, andwhen the season is favourable, on the charming patio outside the hotel. The buffet, carefully prepared from our waiters, includes: brioches, sandwiches, choice of bisquits, rusks, cakes or jam tarts, jams, honey, cream chocolate, butter, natural and fruit yogurt, muesli and cornflakes, fresh fruits, cold cuts and cheese. Orange, pineapple and pamplemousse juices. And, obviously, coffee, milk or tea at your choice. Eggs, omelletes and fresh citrus fruits squash availables as extras.

* The hotel has two meeting rooms, the concorde room with a capacity of 40 seated theatre style, and the vip room where the capacity is 20 persons; both rooms are perfectly equipped with:overhead projector, blackboard, direct dial phone, television and video recorder.

ROOM AMENITIES

* The hotel has 20 double rooms and 2 singles rooms, all fitted for the best comfort:private bathroom satellite color Tv, safe, minibar, hair dryer, direct dial phone, air conditioning directly controlled from the room. Especially, the rooms enjoy a charming sight on the Gulf of the Tigullio, from Portofino to 5 Terre. All the bathrooms have been recently renewed and are fitted with shower and/or bathtub and hair dryer.

"Great little hotel on the Riviera"
The Astoria is a fantastic hotel. We stayed there last summer in a great room with a terrace overlooking the water and the hills. The rooms were very clean, and the bathroom nice and big. The service was excellent, very attentive, courteous and helpful. The location right on the main road along the water cannot be beaten. Rapallo is a great little town that is not as burdened with tourists like close-by Santa Margherita Ligure, but it is right on the main train line, with boats and buses to Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Wonderful!"
We loved this place!!!! The hotel was beautiful and affordable. The young woman at the front desk could not have been more friendly or helpful. The hotel is just across the street from the sea, and situated in a friendly and charming town. You can also take a ferry down to Portifino from Rapallo and those tickets are sold right at the hotel's front desk. I highly recommend this place! We hope to return as it was one of our favorite stops during our three week stay in Italy.

"Excellent Hotel"
My husband and I were very happy with our stay at Astoria Hotel in Rapallo and will definitely stay here again. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated right by the sea with an amazing view of the Gulf of Tigullio. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with cheerful smiles which felt very welcoming. We were then taken to our beautiful room on the second floor with a semi view of the sea. The room was very large (in european standards) and immaculately clean! However, I decided to be moved to a room in front of the hotel since I wanted a full view of the sea. The staff happily moved us the next day and had given us a choice to which room we wanted. We had chosen a room on the 1st floor with a large terrace that included a table, chairs, umbrella and lawn chair. It was fantastic! You are also given the option to have your breakfast in your room (at no extra charge) instead of the dining room downstairs. So one morning, we decided to have our breakfast on the terrace and the friendly man in the dining room had brought us our little breakfast buffet of rolls, cheese, jams, cappuccino... to our terrace. It was fantastic! Rooms in front are much noisier though from the street traffic. Our first room on the 2nd floor was much quieter but it only had a semi view of the sea and didn't have the terrace. So we decided to sarcrifice noise to the wonderful view and the terrace. If you don't want the noise but want the full view, you can just close your windows and turn on the air conditioner. This is an excellent hotel and would recommend people to stay here.
