"Very nice, ideal location."
Just back from a 4 nights stay at Atlantic where we had a very comfortable double room on 2. floor, facing the street. This hotel has obviously been through a major - and lenghty - facelift which may be reflected in previous reports indicating a great variety in room layouts, wear, sizes, decorations, furniture - and prices! We paid €130 p.d. through hotels.com. and got a practically new room with a nice bathroom (with a working shower!), - but without any shelf for personal "beauty bags". Summarized; - Our general impression was above expectations (ref to pictures and reports). - We agree to practically all positive entries from previous guests - and to some of the negative ones. - Yes, our quite new bed was somewhat hard and people with relevant bodily problems could get problems, although we slept very well. - Very little street noise, allthough the tram was rounding the corner every 5 minute or so just up the street and a huge building was under construction a 100 metres the other way. - The room was in a redish tone, from light pink to mahogony. - Excellent service, both at the main desk, at breakfast and in the bar. NOTE: No aircondition or other air circulation, except a light switch activated fan in the bathroom. In summer this room, facing south, may get hot and probably require open (double) windows during the night. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Atlantic and would not mind staying there again.

"Definitely recommend this hotel"
When we arrived at Prague airport we took the shuttle bus into the city. Excellent value.Do not go near the taxis as we discovered to our cost later in our stay! Our bus driver spoke some English and was able to direct us to our hotel. From the bus stop this is a very short walk. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Our room was basic but spotlessly clean. It was very quiet and as it was on the fifth floor we had a nice view over Prague. The bed was very cosy and the shower nice and powerful. However we would have liked a kettle to make a cup of coffee. All in all this is a lovely hotel in an excellent location and very good value for money.

"Good staff"
I have spent some days in hotel Atlantic. We would like to thank to receptionist Lenka and Jitka for making our stay in the ATLANTIC so enjoyable. I do appreciate all that was done for us and we will always remember the kindnesses extended to us. Jitka booked our TOP TOURS and these were really beautiful and rang Korean airlines to reconfirm our flights.

"Good Location"
This hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the old town and the new town. Pefect location. Clean, spacious rooms with modern bathrooms however breakfast left a little to be desired. Best to pass on what the hotel provide and enjoy breakfast in one of the local cafes instead. Only slight draw back to the hotel is the fact that trams pass by all through the night so if you are a light sleeper then definitely request a room at the back of the hotel. There is also building works going on next to the hotel which was noisy on Monday morning but quiet throughout the weekend. Hotel staff were very accomodating and stored our luggage for us on arrival and departure (as we arrived too early for check in). They also provided a guide book and map of prague which was helpful. Top tip - try to arrive at the castle at 12pm on a sunday as this is when they do the changing of the guard to a fanfare (usually it is done without!). Also top tip for girls - all the streets are cobbled so you may want to leave your stilletos at home! Taxis to and from airport were about £15 and the journey took about 20 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for somewhere clean and centrally located to stay at a good price! Enjoy!

"Excellent little hotel - well placed, well priced and quality service"
The Atlantic in Prague is an excellent little hotel. It is very well placed for the old town, for the business district, for the minivan service to/from the airport and for the the train and subway stations. I booked on Expedia and only needed it for one night with price being the major factor. I didn't believe I would get much. However, it was much better than the 4 star I had been staying in earlier and much better placed. The room was warm and comfortable with all necessities, there is free wireless throughout the hotel and you can walk anywhere you need from there. Plus being very near the airport minibus stop (which is outside the Czech Airline (CSA) ticket office) was a major bonus as that minibus service only cost 90 Crowns to the airport and leaves every 30 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Great Location with Free Parking!!!"
For a 3 star, the hotel was above expectations! Location was perfect....on the edge of the old town. Everything was within walking distance. The best thing about the hotel.....it had free parking! That is very hard to come by in Prague in the city center! The lady at the desk was very helpful. The room was very clean and nice. Looked newly refurbished. Great bathroom with a super high pressure shower. There is a street tram stop out front, so it could be a little loud if you have a room in the front of the hotel. But I enjoyed watching all the people down below. We spent evenings in the Havana bar. Too bad it closes at 11pm, but there is a really nice Jazz restaurant/bar across the street. Breakfast was very good. A nice selection...only thing missing were the scrambled eggs, but everything was hot and the coffee was good. The hotel is right next to the Mercure and the Ibis, but less than 1/2 the price. I will definitely stay there next time in Prague!!!!

"Average hotel in a great location"
My girlfriend (21) and I (22) stayed in Prague for 4 days and we really enjoyed ourselves. As this was our first trip away together we didn't really have high expectations but the Hotel Atlantic fulfilled all of our requirements: cheap and cheerful in a very central location, 24hr reception etc. After booking the room in August we contacted the Hotel directly and requested a room on the top floor as these are the quieter rooms, and they were more than happy to oblige to this request. Don't bother to buy a map of the city, merely ask at the reception for a city map and the one they provide is very detatilled and very useful. We visited all the main attractions (the Castle, Charles Bridge, The Lookout Tower, St Vitus's Cathedral, Wenceslas Square, Od Town Square, Wallenstein Gardens near the Castle (which were free and definately worth a visit!!) a boat ride along the river (called little Venice) etc etc, and we travelled by foot to all of these. We did pretty much everything that there was to see in Prague and all in 4 days, and did not use public transport (including taxis) once, except to and from the Airport. Getting to and from the Airport, we would suggest that you use the airport shuttle bus. This leaves from the airport at the very front of the taxi queue (outside the airport terminal on the right). (There is a time table there). If in doubt, do not feel affaid to ask one of the taxi drivers for the shuttle bus that drops off (one stop) at the Rennaisance Hotel in the Namesti Republik. This is approximately 2 minutes walk from the Hotel Atlantic and is only 90Kr per person. On the return journey to the airport it leaves on the hour and the half hour from outside the Renaisance Hotel (again there is a timetable). The journey takes approximately 25mins and is considerably cheaper than a taxi. In summary we had a fantastic holiday and we would definately stay at the Hotel Atlantic on our return journey to this beautiful city.

"Great Htoel - I want to go back!"
This hotel was fantastic. I went to Prague for four days with my boyfriend and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel itself is only 5 minutes from the Old Town Square making it a great location for walking to and from most of the main tourist areas without having to get in any taxis or even use public transport. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite (on arrival they provided us with a detailed map of the city and marked out the main areas of interest). They also spoke really good English and were more than happy to answer any questions. we had The room itself was spacious, clean and very comforrable. The bathroom seemed to be newly refurbished, was very spacious and had an excellent shower. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, ideally located and with staff who are both polite and accomodating to any personal requests you may have.

"Excellent hotel, great value for money"
I recently stayed at this hotel. I found the rooms to be of a very good size, spotless and a great shower. The decor is very neat and it appears that they are being refurbished. The rooms are very warm, which was ideal as it was -3 outside. The beds have a duvet on them. I am over 6ft and the duvet covered me perfectly. The breakfast is a mix of hot and cold ranging from sausage, bacon and eggs, to continental with coffee, tea and juices all on tap. A very nice tasty selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. You couldn't be any more central. The main shopping area is just at the end of the street, which leads to the Astronomical clock. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anybody.

"Excellent deal money/quality"
Hello to everybody, we were 2 ladies and we have enjoyed our trip in Prague in Atlantic. We have stayed in the room 504 on the fifth floor. Room is comfortable and large - enough place for all our ladies stuff :) We have to recommend this hotel to all who wants to stay in best standard of 3 stars for agreable budget. It seems they newly renovated bathrooms and rooms. I have never seen such rich breakfast buffet with all kinds of warm and cold food. Be aware breakfast serving is closing punctualy at 10:00 a.m. so it is better to go a bit earlier. Staff were very friendly and reception helped me with all we needed. We enjoyed Prague at all. It is really beautifull city.

Lovely Hotel
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Atlantic for the extended weekend in April. We were lucky, that there was sunny weather, maybe first sunny days in Prague this year. The Hotel Atlantic is very well located – just a little walk from the amazing Prague’s Old Town. The Hotel is clean, friendly and we really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was always very nice, polite, friendly and helpful. They could speak very good English and some of them also German and Spanish. The room had been recently renovated; furniture and fittings were obviously new. I was surprised, how large the room was. I loved the powerful shower and heated towel rail in the renewed bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean as well as the public areas. The breakfast was served in the Fiesta Café next to the reception and was fabulous. I really enjoined it. There was plenty of good coffee, teas, juices, breads, ham, cheese, eggs, sausages, bacon, cereals, fruit etc. Prague is a lovely city and overall our stay was great. I would certainly recommend Atlantic Hotel to my friends.

Brilliant Visit
We stayed at the Atlantic Hotel last week for three nights. The hotel is excellent, it is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are an excellent size with lots of space and very comfortable. The only thing they lack is tea and coffee making facilities.
