The Atlantis Hotel houses Heraklion's largest and most luxurious conference centre with 1.000 square metres of well - equipped space, featuring rooms that can be adapted to suit your purposes, and can cater for conferences of up to 900 people and receptions or functions of up to 1,000 people.

LOCATION

The Atlantis Hotel is located in the city of Heraklion, in a quiet central area, near the archeological museum, with views of the sea and the harbor.

Since Heraklion is a major port town, it makes sense that one of the most popular ways to get to the city is by ferry. Pireas, the port that serves Athens, is the most common port from which to embark to Heraklion. A normal ferry takes about nine hours and is usually overnight.

A high-speed ferry, which is more expensive, takes about six hours and only travels during the day. It is also possible to catch a boat to other Grecian islands. One route goes from Heraklion to Mykonos, servicing stops in between. Another goes to Thessaloniki.
