Avenue Hotel is a 3- star boutique style which is about a 20-30 minute walk from the main square.

There are a small number of Italian and Spanish restaurants within the vicinity of the Avenue hotel. Walk a little further to Norrebro and you will find a more lively atmosphere.

LOCATION

The Avenue Hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the Forum metro station.

The nearest airport is Kastrup Airport which is about 10 km from the Avenue Hotel. You can take the metro to from the airport . The Metro station is located at the end of Terminal 3. Take the metro to the Forum stop and then its just a 5 minute walk to the Avenue hotel.

The famous Tivoli park and the shopping paradise Stroget are easy to get to from the hotel. Rosenborg Castle and crown jewels are 2 km; Amalienborg 5.5 km and Nyhavn old harbour is 5 km from the hotel.

While you are in Copenhagen, dont forget to pay a visit to the Tycho Brahe Planetarium and IMAXX theatre which is housed in the same building. The planetarium can be found at Gl. Kongevej 10 DK-1610 Copenhagen

We found the hotel clean, good breakfast and convenient location to city centre. Good size ensuite bedrooms and staff very helpful.

"Hotel for Two Great!"
This hotel was perfect. It was about a ten minute walk from the train line and right on the bus route to the airport (45 minute ride). The hotel is being renovated and the rooms we stayed in were already finished. There were new fixtures and nice furniture. Lots of good television channels. A free breakfast was offered and there was a variety of items to choose from. I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms were not the largest, but for college kids traveling or non-picky people, it would be great.

"Good Value Hotel"
Stayed at the Avenue for 3 nights in a family room for 4. The room was hugh with pleanty of room for us all. Room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. The only downside to the room was it was normally a triple and they used a foldout bed for the fourth bed which wasn't very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a hugh range to choose from and the would also cook extra items to order. The location is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the center of town and the railway station but in an interesting area with plenty of shops and restauants. Certainly would rather this area than the seedy area along side the main station. We booked on line directly with the Hotel and the service was great both when booking and when we were at the hotel. They have special deals and we were able to save 350 kroner per night compared to the normal price. Would definitely stay there again.
