"breakfast was lovely"
Avignon Grand Hotel's breakfast was lovely. The room lacked space and had very little wardrobe space - there was no room for hanging clothes. Furniture and decor were adequate and clean but fell short of expectations and didn't quite match the foyer and public areas. |

"Loved This Hotel!"
This hotel is very clean and VERY beautiful! We stayed in a "suite" with two separate sleeping areas. The room was very large, and everything in the room looked brand new. The bathroom was large and very clean, with separate tub and shower. The breakfast at this hotel is amazing! It far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is immediately next door to the SCNF train station, which is very convenient for travel to other Provence towns (we never heard train noise from our room). The local bus to and from the TGV station is less than a block away. Be aware that the pool at the hotel is more of a roof-top dipping pond, so don't count on swimming laps (but who's on vacation in France to swim?). We will definitely stay at the Avignon Grand again!

"A very nice hotel"
This hotel is right next to the railway station and across from the old city wall. A perfect location. The room is clean, bright and above all spacious. There is a lounge, a separate room for the bed, bathroom with separate shower and toilet, and a separate area for the hand basin. We were delighted with our room. The breakfast is great and most enjoyable in terms of choice and quality.
We enjoyed walking around the walled city and the bridge is a must to see. There are so many qaint little shops and restaurants around that we could spend days wondering around and trying out all the restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay there again and recommend our friends to choose this hotel.
