Housed in a 7-storey building, Hotel Axa is a 3-star property located in Central Prague, within walking distance of the most attractive sights that Prague has to offer. Hotel Axa comprises 138 well-decorated rooms as well as facilities suitable for both business and leisure travellers. Most of the rooms feature wonderful works of renowned painters Zdenek Goetze and Miroslav Houst.

LOCATION

Hotel Axa is located on Na Porici Street in Central Prague, approximately 1,2 kilometre (0,7 mile) to the Old Town Square (Stare Mesto) and 1 kilometre (0,6 mile) to the Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske Namesti) which is the commercial centre of the New Town, offering plenty of shops, restaurants, clubs and cafes. The National Museum and the Prague State Opera are situated on Wenceslas Square as well. The perfect location of the hotel allows you to reach numerous tourist attractions around the area on foot.

If you turn left out of hotel and continue straight ahead you arrive at a crossroads where the Municipal House is located. This building was constructed between 1905 and 1912 while it is an important landmark in Art Nouveau style. A pleasant stroll along Celetna street leads you to the Old Town Square.

In the middle of the Old Town Square stands the statue of Jan Hus who was a religious reformer lived during the 14th and 15th centuries. The square is sorrounded by monumental buildings such as the Church of Our Lady in front of Tyn, the St. Nicholas Church, Old Town Hall and Tower. The Astronomical Clock is mounted on one of the walls of the Old Town Hall.

Bila Labut tram station is situated just in front of the Hotel Axa. To reach the hotel from Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can take the bus no. 119 to Dejvicka, move about 3 minutes and take tram no. 8 from Vitezne Namesti to Bila Labut.
