LOCATION
Baby Grand Hotel is located in Athenas street. The Athens metro and train station are just around the corner. If you arrive at the airport, you can take the suburban railway and get off at Syntagma Station. You should then change to metro line 2 and get off at Omonia station. The distance between the airport and the hotel is about 40 km. The harbor of Pireaus is also located 10 km away from the hotel.
The street, where Baby Grand Hotel is located, has direct access to the Acropolis. You can either walk or take the metro to the Acropolis. Here, you can visit the most important historical buildings of Greece, including the Parthenon, the Erectheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike.
Baby Grand Hotel is also located within walking distance to the Plaka area. Plaka is the oldest section of the city and here you can browse through stores and stroll to cafes. "Good Service"
We stayed at the Grand Athena for 4 nights from the 26th August. The room was clean and tidy and spacious. The bathroom was always maintained in an excellent condition. The hotel is located in a good area, central to most of the city attractions. The hotel staff provided an excellent level of service. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful in all aspects. The bellboys were also extremely helpful, always watching when you enter and leave and assisting wherever possible. The breakfast was very nice. The kitchen was under construction so we were not able have dinner there, however that was not a problem as the hotel is in a good location.

"Lovely place"
I stayed at Baby Grand during the first week of November and I had a really nice time. It is a small stylish hotel located on a very beautiful square of Athens (maybe the most beautiful) full of nice buildings incl the Town Hall. The first surprise was the reception desk, which is located on the 1st floor and it is not a ''desk'' ,or anything similar to what I had ever seen. There were two MINI COOPERS !!!!, as a reception!!! It was very cute and really unusual. My check in procedure was fast and the staff was very very helful to my questions.The biggest surprise though was my room which was painted from wall to wall as a wood . I slept in a green wood during the night and not in an ordinary hotel room. I liked it very much!!
The next night, I had a glass of champagne in the MOET BAR of the hotel which is unique in Athens with big white leather armchairs. The lobby the bar and the stairs to the first floor was full of wall to wall photos of other resort hotels of the company. In general, I felt that I was in a stylish hotel in London. Very interesting hotel. Oh !! dont forget to eat at ''Meat Me'' restaurant fresh greek meat ,mushrooms and Meat Me salad..Oh my god!! What a salad...

"unexpectedly cool!!!"
This is a super hip hotel located in maybe the best location of Athens. I read some previous reviews and i find it amazing how people can have different experience from the same hotel. My experience, in brief, was the following: 1) very easy booking through the company's (Classical hotels) site-also we payed 120 euros per day which is a very good value compared to the other options we had 2) the hotel's reception is a genuine gem, a truly hip design, one of the best i have ever met in any hotel world wide 3) service was impeccable, they gave us useful tips, booked us amazing restaurant "Papadakis" in the posh area of Kolonaki and even told us (Nikos the super friendly manager) where to do our shopping 4) the painted wall room was perfectly decorated, beds very comfty! 5) on our last night we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant "Meat me" and the food was excellent (again very well priced).
Overall this is a secure, hip, good value for money, great location, flawless hotel. A must-go if you ever visit Athens!

"Charming and beautiful hotel"
I spent 3 nights at the Athena Grand and loved my stay. The lobby was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Great internet access and cool lobby bar. I stayed on the 5th floor and loved the painted walls...felt I was someplace special. Bathroom was huge and clean, products were a nice touch and I loved the radio/cd player in the room. Very hip decor and comfty beds. Close to metro and safe neighborhood. However, do not order room service as kitchen was under renovation and my order was messed up! It was a nice oasis after a busy day in Athens.

"Boutique Hotel in Athens - Athena Grand"
This a charming boutique hotel that is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Plaka. It is next to City Hall for reference. The hotel is clean and the service is very friendly. The rooms are small but nicely appointed and reasonably priced.
We stayed in the romance parlor as it was our honeymoon. The room has a nice terrace overlooking the square.
The hotel offers a good buffet breakfast daily and has a nice restaurant on the lower floor.
