"Great Hotel"
Having just spent three days in Rome on the go all the time, it was great to come back to the Baileys Hotel at the end of the day. It's in a quiet street away from all the noise but not too far to walk to many of the 'must see' sights. Its handy for the Metro and buses too. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean, tidy and quite spacious(we were in a standard double). There was plenty of choice at breakfast and great coffee! The area had plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices and the hotel staff are happy to recommend local restaurants and pizzerias. The Baileys made a great base from which to explore this amazing city. We would definately stay there again.

"A wonderful base for a wonderful city"
We stayed in the wonderful Baileys from 15th to 19th March 2006 and absolutely loved the place. Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good english. The room (404) faced the street below and has a lovely marble bathroom combined with high ceilings and a great sense of space. Breakfast was excellent and the room service pizza's were a treat. As other posters have indicated, there are excellent places to eat within 100 yards and I am hard pressed to find any fault with the hotel........well, bar could have more comfy furniture but that will not stop me booking again. A wonderful place to spend St Patrick's day.

"Fabulous Hotel"
We have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Rome which was made complete by staying in Bailey's Hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious, the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help. It was situated in a quiet area about 15minutes walk from the Spanish Steps but was surrounded by great bars and restaurants. It was a super base to explore the wonders of Rome and we would definately stay there again on future visits

"Excelllent Hotel"
We decided on Rome for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and so looked for a good comfortable hotel. We were attracted by the reviews Baileys had on there. We booked the Hotel on the hotels website and found it clear and easy. We arrived in Rome on the Leonardo train from Fiumicino Airport to the Termini station. This Station is very large and we suggest you stay inside the station and walk past the other platforms leaving the station by the main entrance where the ticket offices and shops are, this can take upto 10 minutes! Fom this point the hotel is 10 to 15 minutes walk. The hotel is on a road parallel to the 'Via XX Settembre". Via Flavia is quiet with a mixture of Hotels Restaurants and small businesses. Baileys is a small hotel but is well appointed and nicely decorated, our room was larger than we had been led to expect for Rome. The service provided in all aspects of the hotel was exemplary. Whilst one expects the hotel to act on any problems you may point out, I was surprised when I noticed one of the light bulbs in our room was out as we left for a walk to the coliseum one morning, on our return the bulb had been replaced without us mentioning it at all! It shows the sort of care taken by all the staff. The breakfast buffet was nicely presented with a sufficient choice to accommodate our tastes. We found the hotel to be convenient for the major sites and although in Rome you should expect to have to walk we found the routes enjoyable and not too strenuous. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

"2nd time and would go again"
It's our 2nd stay in just over a year so knew what to expect. We arrived xmas eve and stayed until the 28th Dec. We had a street facing room this time which was nicer than the last time which had a window into an internal courtyard. Very friendly staff, far enough away from the hustle & bustle but close enough to walk everywhere. The breakfast struggled a little over the first two days but I guess this will have been because most of their suppliers will have been closed for xmas. Don't miss the Church of Santa Maria della Victoria just around the corner which hosts Bernini's Ecstasy of Sain Teresa - we walked passed it a dozen times before calling in. There are many restaurants in the area,all of which come recommended.

"Bailey's is beautiful"
After a 15 minute walk from Termini station we arrived at Bailey's to a warm welcome. The reception staff are very frendly and professional - they provide information about restaurants and city tours as well as a good street map. We stayed in room 205 which is very spacious and well furnished .Our room was cleaned daily and fresh bed linen supplied. Breakfast is served in the basment area with a good selection of juice, fresh fruit, bread, cereals, cold cuts cheese and scrambled or boiled eggs. Optional extras were also available for a small extra charge. The hotel is located in a quiet residential/business area of the city with a few local restaurants within a short walk. Our favourite was Giovanni's, a family owned restaurant with the most delicious minestone soup. We would recommend this hotel for its quiet location and superior accommodation.
