"Baiyoke Boutique Hotel is a small hotel "
Baiyoke Boutique Hotel is a small hotel with really friendly (& good looking!!!)staff. I was in Bangkok for shopping and could not find a better place to stay - Baiyoke Garment Centre & Indra Square are 3 mins walk away and I could easily go back to hotel, drop my bags & take a short break before heading out again. Night market nearby & MBK, Siam Square etc are about 10 mins by tuk-tuk/taxi although traffic can be a problem, but then again, what is Bangkok without the traffic?! Breakfast is a bit dodgy as the menu is the same daily. |

"I would return there again !"
Baiyoke Boutique Hotel's decor is very avant garde as it was newly refurbished. The lobby is bright, cheery and very impressive. The room is simple with nice modern touch to it and sufficiently sized.However the room could be better lighted. bathroom is relatively small and old but clean. However the sink does not provide hot water except in the bath tub. You could see that the owners had retained some of the old part of the building especially in the toilet.
This hotel really live up to Thailand's tag line - the Land of Smiles !! For the amount that you are paying, it is well worth it. There is a lively nite market just a stone's throw away. Location wise is good as they provide shuttle service every hour to the tourist belt areas like Siam Paragon and MBK. The fact that you have to find your own way back after shopping is not an inconvenience at all. In fact Pratunam maybe a shopping haven for some as it boasts one of the biggest busiest and relatively affordable shopping areas around especially for textiles related products. I would return there again ! |
