"Great condo complex for family"
Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is a great place for a family. We visited here in Jun. 05 with my Son & family. Our two bedroom condo with a pull out couch in the living room was very adequate for 4 adults and 2 teenage boys. The full kitchen was a plus. We could have breakfast every morning before leaving for daytime exploration. In the evening upon our return there was the welcoming indoor pool and hot tubs to sooth our tired muscles.
The exercise room, tennis courts, pool table, etc were great for entertaining the teenagers.
The staff was very courteous and helpful.
This resort is both a regular resort hotel and a timeshare condo complex. We were using a weekly condo exchange and had use of all the hotel amenities.

"Really nice little place"
I found the place to be quite nice. It was very clean, the staff was nice, and the price was definately right. We also got passes to the Banff Gondola and the Hot springs.
The scenery around the place is just breathtaking, and it is outside of town, which I liked. They had a shuttle bus that ran back and forth to town every hour, until about 10pm. So if you wanted to leave your car at the hotel and just walk around town it was perfect.
The room was a little small, (it was just a single room with two beds, a couch and fireplace) but the fireplace was a nice touch, and it had a small fridge, coffee maker and some general dishes & cups. It was all very clean and must have recently been remodeled.
I would say for the price and location, its an execellent deal.
