"clean modern rooms"
My father, son and I had a wonderful stay at the Barcelo Saray. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The buffet breakfast was OK. The location was very convenient and was a 15 minute walk to the main sites. There is a tram station very near to the hotel , (grand bazaar stop) and these trams will take you to the Blue mosque etc. You can buy tram tokens from kiosks, about 60p for any stop.

"Great stay at Barcelo Saray"
Our group of 6 (3 couples) arrived at the Barcelo Saray for a two night stay after our cruise that ended in Istanbul. We were not disappointed! Upon arrival around 9 am, our rooms were not ready, but the hotel staff stored our bags in a a secure place. We were then picked up by our private tour guide for a tour of Istanbul. After our tour, we returned to the Barcelo Saray where we promptly checked in. The hotel is very conveniently located to the major sites, clean, and modern. Our rooms were quite comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was GREAT. The staff was very helpful; internet was free in the business center, and the breakfast was just fine. I would return here in a heartbeat.

"Exellent stay"
We stayed here in february and the hotel was not busy. We got an exellent rate for a room with a view over the square to the mosque.
The tram runs outside and we used it regularly to get to the golden gate and the main tourist sites which are also easily walkable. The bazaar is only a few hundred meters away. The room was really nice, clean and not at all small with a superb modern shower room. and the sauna in the basement was so relaxing after long days sightseeing and shopping. The rooftop restaurante has superb views and the food was ok for a first night but we ate out other evenings in some exellent restaurants a short distance away.
We would definatly recommend this hotel and hope to return -for my fourth trip to Istanbul.

"Boutıque Hotel ın great locatıon"
Rooms are small, but new/clean wıth funky desıgns. Breakfast ıs served ın the restuarant on the top floor wıth a great vıew of the mosques. Best thıng about the hotel ıs the fantastıc locatıon. SIutuated ın the old cıty, ıt ıs opposıte the Grand Bazaar and just 10 mıns walk away from the maın tourıst sıtes lıke blue mosque, aya sophıa

"Nice surprise, above my expectations"
I used the tripadvisor to select the hotel and booked over the internet trough the Barcelo group. They picked me up at the airport. The reception was very efficient, the location is fabulous. The rooms were recently refreshed and we had a huge bathroom. The sauna and bath facilities were very relaxing. It is a price - comfort winner. I warmly recommend.
