friendly and affordable I booked this hotel primarily because it was cheap and that it was in downtown Vancouver with lots of restaurants and shops close by. I can say that it was an excellent value for my money! My room was small compared to other hotels I've stayed in but it was enough. I'd stay again. This hotel is excellent price for what you get. 3.4

good value Barclay Hotel has a pleasant location in downtown of Vancouver, right on the main street of Robson. There are many shops and restaurants close by, so you will never get bored. Our room was a little bit small, but has a bathroom inside. The shower was quite powerful so I could take shower as I like. Overall, this nice hotel gives you what you had paid for. 3.8

location is perfect if you want a nice clean room with a comfortable bed then you can't do better than this. The location is perfect and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are good restaurants nearby and the bus goes right in front of the hotel. This is the best bargain on Robson. You can get breakfast at the hotel or get a hot breakfast across the street. Rooms vary greatly in size and furnishing so if you want a bigger room ask for it. They also give a AAA discount.

"Charming, convenient, cosy" This charming hotel had a warm atmosphere and friendly staff to go with it. It's on the quieter end of Robson street so it's not that noisy. Yet it's minutes from the all the action of downtown - restaurants, bars, theatres, shops, you name it. The rooms weren't fancy, but were very clean and comfortable. Great value for travellers on a budget. Highly recommended!
