"Great, individual hotel"
The Beacci Tornabuoni is located in a really convenient location just a few minutes' walk from the river and the main squares, on via Tornabuoni which has some good luxury shopping. It's a short walk from the train station too (<15 minutes). Our room was in the "tower", which I think has three rooms, all accessed via the roof terrace. These are all really unique and beautifully decorated. I'd definitely recommend you ask for one of these if you can. Friendly service from staff and modest breakfast served on the splendid roof terrace with views across Florence's roof-tops.

"A Gem in Florence"
Our family of 4 stayed at the Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci for 3 nights in mid July. I had requested a quad room and it was perfect. The room was large with a nice size bathroom. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We loved the flower covered rooftop terrace where we had afternoon drinks and a light dinner one evening. It was a welcome oasis from the busy but wonderful city of Florence. The hotel has so many positives (the location, the staff, the terrace) that when we return to Florence we will be staying at the Tornabuoni Beacci.

"Second time, better than the first"
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Within walking distance of amazing shopping and almost all tourist sites. The hotel is several floors up in a beautiful old strozzi. We stayed for 4 days in a large room with italian frescos on the walls, three rooms and two bathrooms. Breakfast was simple but good. Having dinner on the rooftop patio is definitely recommended. Great food and beautiful atmosphere. There is a quaint bar for after dinner drinks. The staff is very pleasant and helpful with dinner reservations. I stayed here with my parents originally in the mid 1990s and with a different room, this was a better stay than the last time. I suspect we will be back at this hotel some day.
