Worth staying the second time
We truly enjoyed our stay in Beijing mainly as a result of the very helpful attention accorded by their staff most especially their Asst. Manager Vivian Zou. She spoke very good english and gave us very good tips on how to go around the city. My initial disappointment regarding our concern for extra bed at the time of check-in was properly handled and explained by Vivian. Thus, my frustration immediately thawed into satisfaction. The counter girls were also always on their toes to help their guests. Since they are aware that we have language problem with the local people, they made sure that taxi drivers are briefed on where to bring us without any hassle. They also helped us in getting reasonable and well covered tour packages around the city including the Great Wall. The hotel room and services by themselves are worth more than what we expected. They were excellent. Of course, location could have been better but this is offset by proper guidance from the staff including on how to get around the city via subway. If there is any suggestion I can make, it is on their dining area. The hotel management may not have given too close attention since their are very good chinese and japanese restaurants nearby. Plus, there are excellent bake shops and a supermarket no more than 10 minutes away where guests who wish to dine in their rooms can buy their supplies. Every late afternoon, an ambulant vendor comes around in a nearby street selling fresh fruits. Of course as advertised, the rooms are provided with basic kitchen and dining needs - microwave, plates, chopsticks, etc.

Great accommodation
I was really impressed with this accommodation, the friendly and efficient staff made our stay memorable. The rooms were exceptionally clean and more than adequate for our requirements during our busy time at the Olympics.

We found the hotel to be extremely clean and the staff very helpful. Definiately a place to recommend to visitors to Beijing, China.
