Warm, friendly and relaxed Scottish hospitality where you’re a friend rather than just a customer.
The Bein Inn Hotel has been welcoming visitors to the oasis for 140 years. The Inn was originally built as a resting place for travellers on the traditional route north from Edinburgh to the Highlands. It enjoys a peaceful, rural location in picturesque, wooded Glenfarg, just to the south of Perth, a few minutes off the M90 motorway and less than an hour's drive from the buzz and vitality of Edinburgh.
The warm, comfortable decor and blazing log fires are in keeping with the traditions and provide a welcome contrast to the cold, sterile character you find in many of today's hotels and restaurants. Specialising in live music where acclaimed musicians from all over the world perform unplugged in front of small audiences of enthusiasts in the intimate concert room. The massive music memorabilia collection is displayed throughout the Inn, evoking memories of rock, folk and blues legends from the sixties and seventies. Some of the world's most renowned musicians and artists have performed here and it was recently voted the "Music Pub of the Year 2002-2003".
The Famous Country Inn and Suites is ideally situated for exploring all parts of Scotland from the history and heritage of Edinburgh to the wild, open spaces of the Highlands. |

"incredible venue"
Where else can you see a band in front of only 50 people. As intimate as you will ever get. And you get to meet them and have a few drinks. Food is just wonderful and the friendliness of the staff is just great....will be back for Albert Lee! Grond floor room was very big and comfortable.

"Greatest Music venue in Scotland"
So the rooms are not 5 star that's not why you go to the Bein Inn. Its well run cosy and very freindly. The rooms are comfortable and much better than you would expect. The food and service are great, but the best thing of all has to be the people. We had breakfast next to Benny Gallagher then stayed on to see John Jorgenson and again sat with him chatting in the bar. This man is Elton Johns favorite Guitarist , for Gods sake!!! We will be back
